The other day, I was looking on the Facebook profile of this girl I used to know from school. It’s a joint account of her and her girlfriend’s, btw. And apparently, when one of them tried to apply to Chicken Express, she was told that she had a better chance of being hired at Chick-fil-a than there, because she was gay.
I’m not sure if it’s the particular owners in the town or if it’s the entire chain tbh. The receipts have Bible verses on them, which kind of turns me off. Idk. Like I said, not sure if the entire franchise has a history of ~Christian values~ (I can’t find anything about them and homophobia). but I know I won’t be visiting the particular store near my hs town anytime soon.
Also, isn’t that fucking illegal??
